Vision & Mission

The Panchayat envisions sustainable development while conserving soil, water, and biodiversity. Special emphasis will be given to the Haritha Keralam Project under the Nava Kerala Mission, promoting intercropping and multi-cropping practices to achieve the goal of a fallow-free Panchayat. With a vision of organic farming, the Panchayat aims to attain self-sufficiency in vegetable cultivation. Encouragement will be provided for cattle farming, poultry farming, and goat rearing.

Efforts will be made to ensure housing security for all, along with improved healthcare facilities, disease prevention activities, and care and support for women, the elderly, and persons facing physical and mental challenges. Steps will be taken to bring Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes into the mainstream of development.

Along with improving the infrastructure of schools, action plans will be designed to enhance educational standards. Greater importance will be given to developing small-scale enterprises using locally available raw materials rather than focusing solely on large industries. Roads and pathways necessary to improve transportation facilities in underdeveloped and rural areas will be developed. Priority will also be given to the promotion of conventional and sustainable energy resources. The mission of Chittariparamba Grama Panchayat is to transform Chittariparamba into a model panchayat by ensuring public participation, transparent governance, and the delivery of efficient and effective services.
