Chittaripparamba Grama Panchayat was selected as the second best Grama Panchayat at the district level in the 2023–24 Mahatma Award. This recognition was achieved through outstanding performance in areas such as rural development, public welfare initiatives, sanitation management, implementation of employment guarantee schemes, and the effective delivery of public services.
The Panchayat successfully implemented various development projects with active public participation and gave significant importance to the welfare of employment guarantee workers and environmental conservation activities. Several innovative initiatives aimed at the overall development of the village also played a key role in securing this achievement.
